Subject: Hi Friends!
Body: Hello everyone. I know, I know…I have been quite for a long time now. I apologize but I always feel awkward if I don’t feel like there is much to talk about. You know me by now and until there is something in ink, I usually am quiet about it. Anyway, this is me Kat and I do read often what everyone writes in. You are the greatest fans in the world. I love that it’s also social and people talk to each other and some have become friends. I thank you thank you all so much always for your support. This is why I am here and people making trips all across the country etc always blows me away. Foster and Friends was a blast and to have special people in the audience made a huge difference. All your gifts and notes are amazing as well. Thank you. Right now I am in the middle of House Bunny promotion as well as getting ready to shoot another movie The Storyteller that I am also really excited about. I have been in and out of the studio just sort of fooling around and meeting great new people and doing some writing which is really exciting. Neutrogena is on its way out and I really love and believe in the products. It makes it a lot easier to be part of. They have been great so far so I hope you guys will enjoy the commercials and seeing me on the late night infomercials. It will be fun. Please give the product a try and spread the word if you like it! The Mattel song was a blast and should be out on DVD in the fall sometime. Whew, I guess things are busy. I am also looking forward to 4th of July in NY. I have never been there for the 4th and from what I hear, its like a huge event with tons of people. On a sad note, I had to put my dog Lily down a week ago. It was really hard. She was such a huge part of my life for the past twelve years. She got me through a lot. I sure miss her. Didn’t mean to end on a sad note but its all part of life. I love you all so much and it makes me water up just thinking how you have all stuck by me even when I have been silent. I will still continue to write you personally as much as I can. Be safe and be good to each other. I hope you all have a great 4th as well and I send all my love.

Katharine McPhee Goes Back To 'American Idol' Roots With 'House Bunny' Sing-Along. (MTV Article)

LOS ANGELES — Katharine McPhee has a new song coming out, but you won't be able to find the tune at your local record shop. It's a cover song of the 1982 classic "I Know What Boys Like," it has a "We Are the World"-worthy group of celebrities providing backing vocals, and you can hear it soon — at a theater near you.

"Yes, I will be singing, along with the other ladies," McPhee said of the track when we visited the set of her August 22 flick "The House Bunny," which back then was planning to name itself after the song. "[We'll] be bringing back an old song to life. It's a lot of fun."

• 11 Jun 2008 - New Katharine Song! by Kevin | 0 Comments
A brand new song by Katharine and David Foster has been released as a promotional song for Japan Airlines! Check out the ad featuring the new song here or listen to the song on the player below! Based on song lyrics, it sounds like the song is either titled "There With You" or "All I Need Is You". Either way, the song is beautiful and Kat sounds amazing! At this time, we're not sure if this song is for her new album or if it was simply recorded for this sponsorship. Take a listen!

• 09 Jun 2008 - Macy's Fourth Of July by Kevin | 0 Comments
Macy's and NBC announced the celebrities taking part in their annual 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular earlier today, and Katharine among the roster! She will be singing "Save the Last Dance for Me." Other performers include Jordin Sparks, Kenny Chesney, and Natasha Bedingfield. The show airs live on NBC at 9 PM on July 4!

"Save the Last Dance For Me", the song Katharine will be performing, was originally performed by Ben E. King and The Drifters in the 60s. The song has recently been covered by Michael Buble. It will be great to hear Kat's spin on the song!

• 08 Jun 2008 - Blogs From the Robert Angelo by Kevin | 0 Comments
Robert Angelo, the director of The Storyteller, wrote a blog about Katharine's role in the movie and how much support us fans have been showing already on his MySpace. Check it out below!

"You guys rule! I've gotten about three million messages this week and hope all of the answers come soon. Since the report broke on Monday, you guys spread word to over 2,000 websites. Amazing!!!!

I can tell you now that I am, in NO way, responsible for Kat's whereabouts when we aren't shooting. And, I can say, you may not even know when she's in town. I'm going to be pretty selfish with her time and attention. I know, know, that's mean. But I'm gonna need 100% of her attention for the flick.

I will verify that she'll be here some time in August. Her character is named 'Tina' but Wes' character refers to her as 'Boof'. If you can figure out why, you win a prize. Tina is hired to be an assistant and to keep her eye on Wes' 'Joseph'. Other than that, you just have to wait. : P"

He also wrote another blog titled "What the Storyteller Isn't"

- It's not a thriller. It's not a psychodrama.
- It's a fairy tale.
- It's going to be bright and vivid.
- It's not going to be Wes Bentley running around like a kook.
